Eco-LABEL By Green Key
From October 2020 Jostedal Hotell is eco-certified by Green Key. This entails that we have met certain eco-requirements and are continually improving ourselves in terms of sustainability.
Some of our measures are that we use eco-labeled cleaners and detergents, and we are increasingly sorting our and our guests' waste into fractions. We have also established routines and completed measures with the purpose of reducing our water and energy consumption. For example lighting, water pressure, heating and ventilation. Our staff are involved in this work and get annual training in terms of goals and sustainability. Further we have established good relations to local partners and offer a variety of local products and activities to our guests.
Green Key is a voluntary eco-label for hotels and other establishments. The Green Key award is the leading standard for excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation within the tourism industry.
